First Round Playoff Rulings

The Court Room is in session!!!

All Rise!!!

The First order of business that the court would like to address is the issue of the Wild Card playoffs!!!!

In the first game of the weekend we saw the Arizona Cardinals pull one off against the Atlanta Falcons, in what, too most people was a surprise! I do not see how it was surprise though seeing as the Atlanta Falcons were on the Road, and are a much better team when they are in the friendly combines of their home field. The Falcons were unable to establish Michael Turner and after riding him all year they truly forgot the name of the horse they rode on there way to the Playoffs and that is un acceptable however I am willing to over look that mistake and still render a decision regarding there season the verdict is as follows:

Verdict: Guilty of going on the road and choking in the playoffs! The season as a whole will be ruled as a success seeing as where they were a year ago, ie. Mike Vick and Bobby Petrino issues! Further more the court would like to send head coach Mike Smith into a counseling program for loss of memory, that decision is solely due to the fact that he must have forgotten who Michael Turner was!!!!

In the Second game of the Weekend we saw the San Diego Super Chargers go up against the almighty Colts!!! This probably was the best game of the weekend although it seems to be a controversial result to most Colts fans who seem to blaming the Ref’s for the calls they made! However between the so called bad officiating and Darren Sproles being an all Purpose machine the Chargers were able to do what only a few thought they could, and won the game in overtime!!!! The verdict is as follows:

Verdict: The San Diego Chargers will not receive any type of verdict from this court until there season is over and at which time I will have to ask the great jurors of our courtroom to render a decision seeing as this judge obviously has a bias towards the greatest team in the NFL that being the San Diego Chargers! (lol)

Furthermore the verdict for the Colts is as follows: Peyton Manning once again had a great season, and won the MVP only to be stopped in the playoffs again! However that being said this probably was the toughest year for the Colts in a while and they showed they truly can get it done even if the odds are stacked against them after there brutal start, all in all the Colts are guilty of losing a close game to a real good team and they fought to the end so for that I tip my hat and render this final verdict on the Colts, Guilty Guilty Guilty of being almost elite but not quite!!! (lol sorry RR my friend)

Regarding the two Sunday games the Court would like to hear from you the people, what do you guys think of Baltimore’s win in Miami and the Eagles marching into Minnesota and proving just how weak the NFC North really is? The court would like your input before rendering a decision in regards to those games!

As well the courtroom would also like to bring to the attention of all its supporters and jurors that there is a great Hockey game being played tonight in the World Junior Championships being held in Ottawa, Canada. The Gold Medal game will feature Canada vs. Sweden for the Gold Medal, if you are not a fan of Hockey I recommend watching these kids play and if you are not a fan after that then you must be in a coma!!!

Court is now in Recess!!!!

The Law has spoken!!!

First Round Playoff Rulings

Well I would once again like to thank all jurors for there continued support of this courtroom!

I will now rule that yes the Minnesota Viking are guilty and as well so are the Atlanta Falcons Guilty of the Same charge, Forgetting the horse that brought you here. The staggering evidence in the case of the Vikings overwhelming and with Gus Ferotte as there star witness I have no other alternative than to convict on the Charge. The same goes for the case mounted against the Atlanta Falcon and their star witness one Michael Turner. As well the Falcons are convicted as well!!

Guilty is the Verdict!!!!!

Order in the Court!

First Round Playoff Rulings

Arbiter of Justice VCLAW,

I tender my personal verdicts as such:

Baltimore Ravens: Not guilty of "Caring how many times the Miami Dolphins turned the ball over in 2008". The Ravens went into the Dolphins stomping grounds and picked off Chad Pennington 4 times, and forced 1 fumble. They clearly did not care, nor respect, the tight grip the Dolphins had on the pigskin this year.

Minnesota Vikings: Guilty of "Starting an undeserving quarterback in a playoff game". Tarvaris Jackson did not win enough games in 2008 to get the Vikings into the playoffs. Gus Frerotte won those games. Dance with who brung ya!

Of course, I leave the final verdict to you, VCLAW.

First Round Playoff Rulings

After hearing just a few of the arguments to this point in time the court would like to announce one more ruling that has just come in!
In the case of McNabb vs. And Reid the jury is at a stalemate, a draw, a tie if you may and they declare a tie and from now on these two will walk hand in hand to marriage counseling and talk about there problems over a bowl of chunky!!! furthermore we order that at least one of Andy Reid's children attend a drug therapy program.

In the case of Canada and Hockey Gold all this judge can say is that yes we are guilty of hogging the Hockey Gold and will be committing the unheard of offense of six gold's in a row next year in Saskatchewan!!!!!!!

As for all other cases the court would ask a brief indulgence well they rest of the jury members gather in my smoke chambers to help with there decisions!!!!

Order in the Court!!!!!!!

First Round Playoff Rulings

Your worship this juror would like to point out that Canada must be found Guilty of greedy hockey goals. I am ashamed that we are so willing to hog the Glory of the Gold completely to ourselves. We need to find a way of spreading the joy of Hockey Gold to our less fortunate fans. I recommend we disband Team Canada for two years and require all Canadian Players to play for Kazakhstan or Slovakia. In the event that this action cannot be carried out we will kick your collective international a** again next year!!

Sorry your worship, I will get myself back under control.

In the matter of Ravens vs Dolphins I must request you find Baltimore Guilty of espionage. To convince Chad Pennington that Ed Reed was a Marine Mammals reciever was the most incredulous act of deception and espionage that the world has seen in recent decades. I request you confine Chad Pennington to the same location as his receivers for the offseason so he can better remember whom they are.

In the matter of Eagles vs Vikings I humbly request the Minnesota Vikings be fined with 1 loss every year pending the return of the Detroit Lions to repectability. These unfair labour practises must end. I also request that you commute sentencing against Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb and their labour disputes until such a time as both can come peacably and knowledgably to the bargaining table. At this time it is felt that Mr. McNabb can no longer represent himself in these matters as his football knowledge has been demonstrated to be lacking and as such he cannot mount a fair defence of his actions.

In all other matters this juror is still deliberating and requires appropraite sunstances to facilitate such activities.

First Round Playoff Rulings

The verdict on the first game seems right on to me. The Falcons seemed to forget about Turner. Arizona looked so feeble the last several weeks of the season, their victory was a surprise to this juror.

The second verdict............

 lol

The Sunday games, A lot of people wanted Miami to win for the Cinderella story. But they ran up against a buzzsaw defense that plays the gaps better than most to combat the wildcat. And Ed Reed...what else can you say. However the Miami story is still a victory to go from 1-15 last year to the East Champs.

The final game, what could be the hottest team in the NFC came out on top. By way of seeding, actually gives the Panthers a very good shot to play in if not host the NFC championship game. This being that the Cardinals have not won a game east of the Mississippi this year. (I think) The Eagles and Giants have already seen each other twice is year so there won't be too many surprises.
